Leanor Papai is a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a retired registered nurse as well as a professional artist. As a child, she was always interested in art and having a gift to draw, she constantly endeavored to learn as much as she can about all things art.
Over the years, Leanor has taken many workshops, classes and continues to study. She feels having conversations and being with other artists energizes and helps the creative juices flow. Since retiring from nursing, painting has become her passion, and the challenge to become better drives her.
Leanor is an active member of the Art Association of Madison County, Inc., Randolph County, Watercolor Society of Indiana, Hoosier Salon, Indiana Artists Club, Inc. Indianapolis Southside Art League, Inc. and Indiana Plein Aire Painters.
As an award winning artist, she has exhibited locally as well as throughout the state of Indiana. Her artwork is hung in in businesses as well as private homes.
Leanor and her husband of 55 years, reside in Anderson, Indiana and both enjoy traveling together. During their adventures, Leanor takes time to paint en plein aire.
